Richard Murray
Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director

Richard is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in retail and finance. Mr Murray joined JB Hi-Fi as CFO in 2003 and took the business through the IPO process. Prior to this Richard was an Associate Director, in the Corporate Finance Group of Deloitte. Richard was appointed to the Board of JB Hi-Fi in June 2012 and became CEO on 1 July 2014. He is currently Chairman of the Australian Charities Fund Employee Leadership Initiative, which aims to encourage Australian businesses to set up Workplace Giving Programs. To date JB Hi-Fi’s workplace giving program, Helping Hands, has 70% staff participation and has raised over $10m for its charity partners.

Cameron Trainor
Managing Director of JB HI-FI

Cameron joined JB Hi-Fi in November 2009 as Merchandise Director. Prior to joining JB Hi-Fi, Cameron was the General Manager Grocery Merchandise with the Wesfarmers owned Coles Supermarket Group. During his 29 years at Coles, Cameron held a number of Senior Management positions across Store Operations and Merchandise Buying, including leading the Grocery buying Function, General Manager Fresh Foods and leading the company’s Promotions Function.

Terry Smart
Managing Director of The Good Guys

Terry joined The Good Guys as Managing Director in April 2017 with a proven track record as one of Australia’s best retail executives, having previously held CEO, COO and Director roles with JB Hi-Fi and Kodak Retail. During his time as CEO of JB Hi-Fi, Terry was responsible for driving the store-roll out program, growing the business from 10 to 182 stores and launching the JB Hi-Fi Home strategy. He has over 30 years retail management experience and is focused on building on The Good Guys many strengths and continuing to grow the brand as part of the JB Hi-Fi Group.

Nick Wells
Chief Financial Officer

Nick is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in finance and accounting. Nick joined JB Hi-Fi in 2009 from Deloitte and was Group Financial Controller prior to becoming CFO on 1 July 2014.

Tim Carter
Group Supply Chain & Commercial Director

Tim is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in finance, sales, marketing and supply chain for organisations such as EY, UBS, Symbion and online retailer Catch of the Day. Tim was member of the JB Hi-Fi team from September 2005 until July 2011 where he held various positions including General Manager – Inventory & Supply Chain. Tim left JB Hi-Fi to join Catch of the Day as their Chief Operating Officer. Tim re-joined JB Hi-Fi in September 2014 & currently leads both the Supply Chain & JB Hi-Fi Solutions (Commercial) teams.

James Saretta
Director Strategy and Digital

James’s almost 30-year career has combined general management and almost 20 years of management consulting. After 20 years of consulting in strategy, James joined JB Hi-Fi in May 2016 after working with the Executive Team during 2015. With a strong background in strategy James takes on the role of Director Strategy and Digital.

Lynda Blakely
Group HR Director

Since joining The Good Guys in April 2016, Lynda has held HR Director and General Manager roles and has supported the business through significant change. Lynda was appointed to the role of Group HR Director with JB Hi-Fi in June 2019. Lynda has over 15 years’ experience in HR and senior leadership roles, and previously  held HR and Sales general management roles with a tier one energy retailer.

Simon Page
Group Technology Director

Simon joined JB Hi-Fi in September 2015 as Chief Information Officer and was made Group Technology Director in July 2019. He has had almost 20 years of technology experience in Digital Media, Telecommunications and Retail in both consulting and industry roles. Prior to joining JB Hi-Fi Simon was GM of Information, Digital and Technology for Retail at Australia Post, and GM of Strategy and Architecture at Tabcorp.
